Do You Want to Have Sex with Me? Is a series of 9 pornographic short tilms created during a residency at the Yale Nortolk School of Art using the video game, The Sims 4, and custom content (CC) created by the Sims community. Each video teatures the artist and a member of his cohort in intimate scenes. A pertormative lecture, called Process Process Club Club, and a full screening accompanied the making of this project.
The machinima (machine-animation) series sought to learn from the underground subculture of adult content in video games to retroactively trace these histories to be better equipped to navigate the rise of comparative technologies like deepfakes and the role of consent (or lack thereof) with Al- both in terms of our image, but also our labor as artists.
